Tungsten Carbide Forging Nibs are designed to sustain high and repeated stress. Tungsten carbide with very good impacting toughness which makes the forging technology possible for mass production of high-volume parts like screws, bolts, and rivets. Seego Carbide forging nibs last longer time and provide superior parts accuracy.
Forging nibs usually can be divided into punching nib and bushing nib, used in cold forging, warm forging, and hot forging technology situation.
Under strong impact wear working conditions, tungsten carbide cold forging nibs are required hard alloy has good impact toughness, fracture toughness, Fatigue strength, flexural strength, and good wear resistance.

We produce tungsten carbide die inserts blanks for use in hot and cold forging nib tooling and forming tool applications. Inserts are made to order and can be supplied in different tungsten carbide material grades with up to a 25% cobalt binder to meet our customer’s specific requirements to produce bolts, screws and special fixings, in a variety of materials. We produce the die inserts and blanks in the as-sintered condition with the specific overall dimensions and special features our customers request ready for them to produce finished ground tools.
